If snail is covering 1 metre in 10 seconds, then it's speed would be 360 metres or .360 km/hr.
This is because if it travels 1 metre in 10 seconds then in 60 seconds i.e. in 1 minute it would travel 6 metres because 60/10=6.
Now we have to multiply 6 with 60 because 1 hour has 60 min.
So, 6*60=360 metres or .360km which is it's speed.

Simply convert both units
1 metre = 1/1000 km or 0.001 km
1 second = 1/60 min which is 1/(60×60)hour
10 seconds= 10/3600
therefore 1 metre in 10 seconds is
(1/1000)/(10/3600)
simplify and you will get 360÷1000 Km/h or 0.36 Km/h.
1 metre = 1/1000 km or 0.001 km
1 second = 1/60 min which is 1/(60×60)hour
10 seconds= 10/3600
therefore 1 metre in 10 seconds is
(1/1000)/(10/3600)
simplify and you will get 360÷1000 Km/h or 0.36 Km/h.
