A snail covers a distance of 100metres in 50 hours. Calculate the average speed of snail in km/h.

Distance travelled = 100m = 0.1km
Time taken = 50 hours

Speed

 = \frac{0.1}{50} \\ \\ = \frac{1}{10} \div 50 \\ \\ = \frac{1}{10 \times 50} \\ \\ = \frac{1}{500} kmph \\ \\ = 0.002 \: kmph \\ OR \\ 2 \times 10^{ - 3} \: kmph
