"A snail is at the bottom of a 30-foot well. Each day he climbs up three feet, but at night he slips back two feet. How many days will it take him to climb out of the well?"​

It takes 28 days to snail to climb up the well

Explanation:

As it climbs every day 3 feet and slides 2 feet

That means it climbs only one feet per day

For 27 days it climbs 27 feet

but on 28th day it climbs 3 feet and reaches well without sliding. So it takes 28 days for the snail to climb up
