= 27×3.5 +1/2(-9.8)×(3.5)²

= 94.5-4.9×12.25

=94.5-60.025

the snowball travels 34.475 m upwards

v=u+at

= 27+ (-9.8)×3.5

=27- 34.3

= -6.7 m /s
