Radius of the cone, r = 1 cm

Height of cone , h =1 cm

Radius of the hemisphere, r= 1 cm

volume of the solid

=volume of the cone+volume of the hemisphere

1/3 pie r( sq.) h + 2/3 pie r(3)

=1/3 pie r(sq.) (h+2h)

= 1/3 pie (1)sq. (1+2 (1) )

= pie/3 (1+2)

=1/3 (3)

--) 3 and 3 cancel

= pie cm3
