Given:

Dimensions of Sopcake

  • Length = 7cm
  • Breadth = 5cm
  • Height = 2.5cm

Dimensions of Cardboard

  • Length = 56cm
  • Breadth = 40cm
  • Height = 25cm

To Find:

  • How many soapcakes can be placed in a cardboard box.

Solution:

Volume of Soapcake = L × B × H

→ Volume of Sopcake = 7 × 5 × 2.5

→ Volume of Soapcake = 87.5 cm³

Volume of cardboard = L × B × H

→ Volume of cardboard = 56 × 40 × 25

→ Volume of cardboard = 56000 cm³

Number of Sopcakes = Volume of Sopcake/ Volume of Cardboard

→ Number of Sopcakes = 56000/87.5

→ Number of Sopcakes = 640

Hence,

  • 640 Sopcakes can be placed in the cardboard
