 A soft drink is available in a cylindrical pack of radius 3.5cm and height 10cm .The cost of the soft drink is related to the quantity of drink in it at the rate of Rs 60 per litre .Now answer the following question(a)Find the capacity of this container (b) what is the cost of this soft drink( in round Rs)?(c) what is the curved surface area ? (d) what is the total surface area of this container ? (e) which concept is used in solving such questions?

Step-by-step explanation:

the total volume or capacity of the can is πr²h thus the total volume is (22/7)×3.5×3.5×10=11×(7/2)×10=55×7= 385cm³

considering rate of 1000cm³=60rs

1cm³=(60/1000)

1cm³=0.06rs

thus for 385cm³ rate will be 385×0.06

=23.01rs which is approximately 23rs or 24rs if charging extra

csa of can is 2πrh= 2×π×3.5×10=220cm²

TSA of cn is csa+2πr²=220+(2×π×3.5²)= 296.96cm²

the concept used in solving is mensuration or surface area volume of cylinder
