A solar panel has a Vm of 17.2 V and Im of 2.32 A. What is the power of the solar panel?

Given:-

  • Potential difference,V = 17.2 V

  • Current,I = 2.32 A

To be calculated:-

Calculate the power of the solar panel.

Formula used:-

Power,P = V × I

Solution:-

We know that,

Power = Potential difference × Current

★ Putting the value in the above formula,we get:

Power = 17.2 × 2.32

Power = 172/10 × 232/100

Power = 39,904/1000

Power = 399.04

Thus,the Power of the solar panel is 399.04 Watt.
