Let A buy watch at x
Then, B buy that watch at X+X*20/100
=6x/5
C buy that watch at-6X/5+6X/5*5/100
=6X/5+3X/5
=63X/50
So, C buy that watch at 63X/50
But cp for C given 441
According to question
=63X/50=441
X=441*50/63
=350

Answer:

Rs.350

Step-by-step explanation:

A to B

Let initially cost price of watch for A was x

Profit  = 20%

SP = CP + 20% of CP

    = x + (20/100)×CP

    = x + (x/5)

SP  = 6x/5

B to C

Cost Price for B = SP of A

                          = 6x/5

Profit = 5%

SP for B = 6x/5 + 5% of 6x/5

              = 6x/5 + (3x/50)

             = 63x/50

Cost price for C = SP for B

∴ Cost Price for C = 63x/50

But given that C paid Rs. 441

∴ 63x/50 = 441

x = (441 × 50)/63

x = 350

∴ Cost Price of Watch was Rs.350
