A solenoid is connected to a battery so that a steady current flows through it. If an iron core is inserted into the solenoid, will the current increase or decrease? Whether the current flowing through the solenoid higher of lower than this value, if instead of a battery, an

a.C. Source of same effective value would be connected to the solenoid? Also state what type of change in current is observed in this case on insertion of iron core into the solenoid.

the current will increase because the iron ore is a high reactive metal so the current will floe faster and the current will also increase.
