A solenoid with an iron core and a bulb are connected to



a.D.C source. How does the brightness of bulb change when iron core is removed from the solenoid ?

Brightness of the bulb remains unchanged,when the iron core is removed from the solenoid because inductance of the solenoid connected to d.c source does not depend on the medium inside the core of the solenoid.
