The electric flux coming out of the ball is 1/∈o where ∈o is epsilon not.

Given : A solid ball of mass 1 Kg and diameter 2 m  contains 3 charges of 2C, 4C and -7C.

To Find :  The electric flux coming out of the ball.

Solution : The electric flux coming out of the ball is 1/∈o where ∈o is epsilon not.

The given that a solid ball of mass 1Kg and diameter 2 m contains 3 charges of 2C, 4C and -7C

We have to find the electric flux coming out of the ball

We know electric flux is given by

Electric Flux (Ф) = |q/∈o |

where q is net charge

The net charge in the solid ball will be sum of all the charges inside the ball

2 C +4 C -7 C =  -1 C

So Ф = 1/∈o

Hence the electric flux coming out of the ball is 1/∈o where ∈o is epsilon not.
