The body floats

Density of body = Mass / Volume

= (4 × 10⁻³ kg) / (2 m³)

= 2 × 10⁻³ kg/m³

Density of water = 10³ kg/m³

Compare the two densities

Density of water is 5 lakh times that of density of body

Less dense objects floats on more dense fluid.
