.

Find volume of the big cone:

Volume of a cone = 1/3 π r² h

Volume of big solid cone = 1/3π(6)²(8) = 96 π cm³

.

Find radius of the small cone:

Radius = Diameter ÷ 2

Radius = 1 ÷ 2 = 0.5 cm

.

Find volume of the small cone:

Volume of the small cone = 1/3π(0.5)²(1) = π/12 cm³

.

Find number of small cones:

96 π ÷  π/12 = 1152

.

Answer: It can formed 1152 of the small cones.
