A solid consisting of right circular cone standing on a hemisphere is placed upright in a right circular cylinder full of water and touches the bottom find the volume of water left in the cylinder if the the given that the radius of the cylinder is 3 cm and its height is 6 cm the radius of the hemisphere is 2 cm and height of the cone is 4 cm give your answer correct to one decimal place

vol.of hemisphere=2/3πr^3=2/3π2^3

=I6/3π

vol. of cone=1 / 3 πr^2h=1/3π2^2 x 4

= 16/3π

vol. of waterleft in the cylinder =

54π-(I6/3π + l6/3π) =169.56 -33.48

=136.18cm3
