given that solid copper wire is melted into a wire of uniform cross section.
therefore,diameter of solid copper wire is equals to diameter of casted wire.
therefore their radius are same.
volume of solid copper wire =volume of casted wire
Πr^2h=Πr^2h1
h=h1
therefore their heights are also same.
surface area of solid copper wire=1386/100
2Πrh=1386/100
2×22/7×r×31.5=1386/100
r=(693×7)/(22×31.5×100)
r=0.07m

I hope it is correct

prajapatyk: when a paper is used to make a conical shape its base get neglected in the same way when copper is used to make a wire its base get neglected,that is why i selected csa
