Actually, I think that u have written this question wrong ,, with no given sides....
I think side of big cube should be 12 cm, I found this ques . in my book ,, and the side is given 12 cm .. same to be applied here ...
otherwise it will be impossible to find the ratio
side of big cube- 12 cm
vol. - 12×12×12=1728 cm cube.
vol of big cube- 8× vol.of 1 small cube.
1728/8= vol. of 1 small cube .
vol of 1 small cube - 216
side of small cube- 6cm
TSA of big cube: TSA of small cube = 6 sideof big cube square: 6sideof small cube square
