∴tsa of this cube=6a²=6x²...............[1]
l of new cuboid=x
height= x
breadth=x/2
tsa of new cuboid=2(lb+bh+lh)
=2(x×x+x×x/2+x×x/2)
=2(4x²/2)
=4x²............[2]
[1]/[2]
6x²/4x²
⇒3/2
