A solid cube of edge 8 cm is melted and cast into a cuboid whose base measures 20 cm by 10cm. find the height of the ​

Cube edges = 8cm

Volume of cube = 8×8×8 = 512 cubic cm

formula \:  = a \times a \times a

We know that when a shape is melted and become into other shape its volume is same .

Volume of cube = Volume of cuboid

Volume of cuboid = 512 cubic cm

In cuboid,

Breadth = 20 cm

Length = 10 cm

Height = ?

Volume of cuboid = l × b × h

512 = 10 × 20 × h

h = 512 ÷ 20 × 10

h = 512 ÷ 200

h = 2.56 cm

Cuboid with base are 25 and 20

25*20*x=8000

500*x=8000

x=8000/500

x=16

height will be 16. cm
