SOLID CUBE:-

sides = a = 2.2cm

Volume = a³

             = (2.2)³

             = 10.648cm3

As the solid cube is melted into cylinderical wire,

VOLUME OF CUBE = VOLUME OF CYLINDER → 1

CYLINDERICAL WIRE:-

radius = 1mm

            = 1/10cm     [As 1cm = 10mm]

Length of the wire = height of the cylinder = h = ?

Sub. in 1

a³ = πr²h

10.648 = 22      1       1     h

              ----- ×  --- × ---- ×

                7        10     10

7453.6 = 22h

h = 7453.6 ÷ 22

h = 338.8cm

∴The length of the cylinderical wire is 338.8cm.
