A solid cube of side 14 cm is cut into 64 cubes of equal volume. What will be the side of new cube?

The side will be 4 cm and the ratio of their total surface area would be 16:1.

Answer:

Volume of cube =s³

= 14×14×14

=2744 cm³

Divide the volume by 64

= 2744÷64

=42.875

s³=42.875

Side of the new cube

s=³√42.875

s=3.5 cm
