The solid cube is melted and cast into a Cuboid of base 20cm

volume of cube = volume of cuboid

For cube

side = 20cm
vol.of cube= l × l × l
= 20 × 20 × 20
= 20 × 400
= 8000cu.cm

vol.of cuboid = 25×20×h
= 500 h

vol.of cube = vol.of cuboid
8000 = 500 h
8000÷ 500 = h
16 = h

The height of the cuboid is 16cm.

Volume of cuboid= Volume of cube

 =  >  \: l \times b \times h = a3
