Solution:

According to the given Conditions,

Cost of one m³ of cloth = Rs 5

Cost of the cubical block = Rs 256

Now,

Volume =  Cost of the cube/cost of 1m³ of wood

= 256/5m³

= 51.2m³

Now,

We have to convert it into cm³ by multiplying 1000000 to it.

So, 51.2m³ = 51.2 x 1000000 = 51200000cm³

Hence, The volume is 51200000cm³.

Again, Length of the side of the cube:

= ∛51200000

= 371.32 cm

Hence,

The required volume is 51200000 cm³.

The required length of each side is 371.32 cm.

mysticd: it is cubical wood not cloth
