A solid cuboid of 15cm X 12cm X 10cm. From each of its vertex cube of edge 2 cm is cut out. Find the % change in its TSA.​

Given : A solid cuboid of 15cm X 12cm X 10cm.

From each of its vertex cube of edge 2 cm is cut out.

To Find : % change in its TSA.​

Solution:

TSA of cuboid = 2 (15 x 12 + 12x 10 + 15 x 10)

= 2( 180 + 120 + 150)

= 2(450 )

= 900

There will be no change in TSA as cuboid is  solid

so Surface will be there  even after cutting cube  of 2 cm

at different level ( depth)

Hence TSA will remain Same

 % change in its TSA.​  = 0 %
