Step-by-step explanation:

●Volume of solid iron cuboid = lbh

=33×40×15

=19,800 cm³

(It is melted and recasted into a shape of cylindrical pipe)

●outer diameter of recasted cylindrical pipe(R)

= 8cm ,=8/2, = 4

●inner diameter of recasted cylindrical pipe(r)

= 7cm, =7/2, =3.5

●Let length of pipe be 'h'

●Volume of hollow cylindrical pipe = π(R²-r²)h

=3.14 ×(4²-3.5²)h

=3.14×(16-12.25)h

=3.14×(3.75)h

=11.77h cm³

●Volume of cuboid = Volume of cylindrical pipe

(to find the height)

19,800 cm³= 11.77h cm³

h = 19,800cm³ ÷ 11.77 cm³

h= 1682.24

Therefore the length of the pipe is 2717.94
