a solid cude is side 12cm is out into 8equal cubes of equal volumes . what will be the side of the new cube? and also find the ratio of their surface area​

THEREFORE, volume of smaller cube=1728/8

=216cm3

volume of smaller cube=216cm3

side3=216

side=6cm

TSA of larger cube=6a2

=864cm2

TSA of smaller cube=6a2

=216cm2

Therefore ratio of surface ares=864/216

=4:1
