Given,

Base diameter of the solid cylinder is 10 cm

height of the solid cylinder is 3 metres

radius of the spherical ball is 2 cm

To find,

The number of spherical balls that can be made from the given solid cylinder.

Solution,

We can simply solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process.

Volume of the cylinder = π×(10/2)²×(3×100) = π×25×300 = 7500π cm³

Volume of the spherical ball = 4/3 × π × (2)³ = 32π/3 cm³

Number of possible spherical balls = 7500π ÷ 32π/3 = 7500π × 3/32π = 703.125 » 703 balls

Hence, 703 balls are possible to manufacture.
