GIVEN:-

Radius of solid cylinder (r) = 2 cm

Length of solid cylinder (h) = 7 cm

Density of solid cylinder (ρ) = 3.1 g/cm^{3}

TO FIND:-

What is the mass of the cylinder?

SOLUTION:-

The equation of density of solid cylinder (ρ) = m/V   .......(1)

Where m  is the mass of cylinder and  V  is the volume of cylinder.

The volume solid cylinder is calculate as,

V=\pi r^{2} h

or, V= \pi * 2^{2} * 7

or, V= 87.96 cm^{3}

∴from the equation (1) we get,

ρ = m/V

or, 3.1 = m/87.96

or, m= 87.96*3.1

or, m=272.67 gram

Hence ,the mass of the cylinder is 272.67 gram.(ans)
