we know, volume of cylinder = πrsquare h. then volume of cylinder = π×16× 18 now , the solid cylinder is recast into solid sphere. so ,volume of cylinder = volume of sphere π×16×18 = 4/3 πr cube then , π×16×18×3/4π = rcube next, 216 = r cube put cube root on both sides gives , 6 = radius therefore , radius of sphere is 6cm.
