∴radius of hemisphere =28/2=14cm

ANSWER:-

height of hemisphere = radius of hemisphere =14cm

∴height of 2 hemisphere i.e 1 sphere = 28cm

∴height of cylinder = height of solid -height of sphere{height of 2 hemisphere} = 100-28=72cm

thus , TSA of solid:-

= CSA of cylinder + TSA of sphere

=2$\pi$rh +4$\pi$$r^{2}$

=2$\pi$r [ h + 2r ]

=2×22/7 ×14[ 72+2(14) ]

=88 [ 100]

=8800$cm^{2}$

rate of polishing = 5p = 5/100 rs/- per $m^{2}$

∴cost of plishing 8800$cm^{2}$ = 8800 × 5 / 100 = 440 rs/-
