height of cylinder =3.5cm
r=4cm
volume of cylinder=πr^2h
=22/7*4*4*3.5=44*4=176 cu cm
height of cone=7cm
volume of cone=1/3*πr^2h
=1/3*22/7*4*4*7
=1/3*22*4*4
=352/3 cu cm
total volume of the solid=176+352/3
=293.33 cu cm(approx)

Volume of solid =  293.33 cm³

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume of solid = Volume of Cone + Volume of Cylinder

Radius of cone = Radius of cylinder = 4 cm

Height of cone = 7 cm

Height of cylinder = 3.5 cm

Volume of cone = (1/3)πr²h

= (1/3)(22/7)4² * 7

= 352/3 cm³

Volume of cylinder = )πr²h

= (22/7)4² * 3.5

= 176 cm³

Volume of solid = 352/3+ 176   =  880/3  cm³

= 293.33 cm³
