The volume of the solid will be 680.16 cm³

Step-by-step explanation:

Given diameter of the cylinder = 7 cm

=> radius of the cylinder = radius of the hemisphere = 7/2 = 3.5 cm

Height of the solid = 20 cm

=> height of the cylinder = 20 - 2(3.5) = 13 cm

Hence volume of the solid

= volume of the cylinder +  2 x volume of the hemisphere

= πr²h + 2 x 2/3 x πr³

= 22/7 x 3.5 x 3.5 x 13 + 2 x 2/3 x 22/7 x  3.5 x 3.5 x 3.5

= 500.5 + 179.66

= 680.16 cm³

Hence the volume of the solid will be 680.16 cm³
