A solid is in the form of a right circular cylinder with a hemisphere at one end and a cone at the other end . Their common diameter is 8cm and the height of the cylinder and conical portions are 10 cm and 6 cm respectively . Find the TSA of the solid.(take value of pie as 3.14).

Add surface area of each figure,
Surface area of hemisphere+ surface area of cone+ surface area of cylinder
=2πr²+πr (l+r)+2πrh
l²= r²+h²
l= √r²+h²
l=√(4)²+(6)²
l=√16+36
l =√52
=2×3.14×16 + 3.14×4×√52 + 3.14×16 + 2×3.14×4×10
=492.5 (approx.)
