Given:

  • Dimensions of the solid metal block = 25cm, 15cm and 10cm
  • Measure of side of the cubical block = 5cm

To find:

  • Number of cubical blocks.

Solution:

  • No. of blocks = vol. of metal block/vol. of cubical block

★ Volume of metal block,

→ Length × Breadth × Height

→ 25 × 15 × 10

3750cm³

★ Volume of cubical block,

→ (Side)³

→ (5)³

125cm³

★ Now, number of blocks,

→ 3750/125

30 blocks

Hence, the number of cubical blocks is 30.
