A solid metal cuboid has length 16 cm,width 8 cm and height 4 cm.
The cuboid is melted down and all the metal is used to make a solid cube. Calculate the length of one side of the cube.

Volume of cuboid :-

=> Length × Breadth × Height

=> 16 cm × 8 × cm × 4 cm

=> 512 cm³

When the cuboid is melted and all metal is used in making of cube.

Then, the volume of cube is 512 cm³

Volume of cube = Side³

=> Side³ = 512

=> Side = ³√512

=> Side = ³√ 8 × 8 × 8

=> Side = 8 cm

Hence, One side of the cube is 8 cm.
