Volume of cuboid = l x b x h
= 9 x 8 x 2

Given edge (side) of recast cub = 2m
Volume of cube = edge x edge x edge
= 2 x 2 x 2  = 8 cu m.

No. of cubes that can be cast from the above melted cuboid = volume of cuboid / volume of cube

= 144 / 8
= 18

Ans: You can recast 18 cubes of 2m edge from the above metallic cuboid.
