A solid metallic cylinder of radius 12cm and height 175cm is melted and moulded into another solid cylinder of height 63cm. What is the radius of the new cyclinder ??

Let the Radius of new cylinder = r1 and height = h1
Clearly, πr²h = πr1²h1
π12×12×175 = πr1² × 63

r1²= 12×12×175/63

r1² = 400

r1 = 20cm
