=> Volume of cylindrical rod = πr^2h

=>π× 0.5×0.5×8.....(2)

Volume of cylindrical wire

= πR^2H

=πR^2×18.....(3)

From eqn. 1,2 and 3

π× 0.5× 0.5 ×8= π× R×R×18

(π getting cancelled on both sides)

R=√0.5×0.5×8/18

R=√2/18cm
