ACCORDING to the question

volume of cone = volume of hemisphere

1/3 πR²h = 2/3 πr³

π× 8² ×h = 2× π × 6³

h= 2× π×6³ × 1/π × 1/8²

h= 2× 6³ × 1/8²

h= 432/64

h= 6.75

hence the height of cone will be 6.75
