a solid of density 8.9g/cm^3 weighs 5.4 kgf.it is immersed in a liquid of density 1.5 g/cm^3 . what will it weigh in the liquid​

density in si liquid 10(3) times cgs so I ll use that from here out

volume of object= m/ d.solid = 5.4/ 8.9 x10(3) = 6 x10(-4)

weight of fluid disp. = d.liquid x volume x g

W apparent = weight of body - weight of fluid displaced

=5.4 x10 - 1.5 x 10(3) x 6 x10(-4) x 10

=54 - 9

= 45 newton
