A solid right-circular cone of height 60 cm and radius 30 cm is dropped in a right- circular

cylinder full of water of height 180 cm and radius 60 cm. Find the volume of water left in

the cylinder, in cubic metres​

Volume of cylinder= πr^2h

=22/7×60×60×180 =2036571.43 cc.

Volume of the cone =1/3×22/7×900×60= 56571.43 cc.

Hence ,

Volume of water= (2036571.43-56571.43) cc.

= 1980000 cc.

=1980 cubic dm.=1980 litres.
