To find :
The value of frictional force on the sphere
Solution :
- We have the relation , a = Iα
a = F-f / m
= 7-f / 10
- From the relation , τ=Iα
α = τ/I
= fR / I
= fR / (2/5mR²)
= 5f/2mR
- Equating both the equations,
7-f / 10 = 5f/20
7f = 14
f = 2N
The frictional force on the sphere is 2N
