A solid sphere of volume & experiences a viscous force F when descending with a speed V in a liquid. If another solid sphere of volume 27v descends with the same speed in the same liquid , it experiences a verous force.​

to find = force in liquid medium

solution =

apply the stoke`s law

F = 6πηR₁v

V = 4/3πR³...{ volume in solid sphere }

F = 6πηR₂v

27V =  4/3π2R³..{volume in liquid }

so, by calculating

F = 9F

same speed in the same liquid , it experiences a verous force.​i.e. 9F
