We have to keep in mind, that the sphere which exactly fits in a cube has a diameter equal to the length of one side of that cube.

Here,

The length of one side of the cube = 2a unit

So, the diameter of the sphere = 2a unit

Radius of the sphere = 2a/2 = a unit

Volume of the sphere = 4/3 × π × (a)³

= 4/3 πa³ unit³

Hence, the volume of the cube is 4/3 πa³ unit³.
