Volume and density of solid is 5 \ cm^3 and 3 \ g/cm^3 respectively .

Let , density of solid  \rho_s .

Volume of solid , V

Given :

Density of liquid , \rho_l=0.8 \ .

We know ,

V\rho_s g=15g \\\\V\rho_s=15

Also, given is weight of solid in liquid is 15 gm .

Also, Reduced of weight = Weight of the solid - Weight of liquid displaced by the water

13g=V\rho_sg-V\rho_lg\\\\13=V\rho_s-V\times 0.8\\\\13=15-0.8V\\\\V=5 \ cm^3.

Therefore, density of solid , \rho=\dfrac{M}{V}=\dfrac{15}{5}=3 \ g/cm^3.

Hence, this is the required solution.
