Weight of solid in air Ws,air = 200 gf

Weight of solid in water Ws,water = 160 gf

R.D. of solid = Ws,air /(Ws,air  - Ws,water) =

200/(200 - 160) = 200/40 = 5 R.D. of liquid =

Loss of weight of solid in liquid / Loss of weight of solid in water

                      = (200 - 170)/(200 - 160) =

30/40 = 0.75
