A solid weighs 120 gf in air & 105 gfwhen it is completely immersed in water . calculate the relative density of solid and up thrust and volume of the solid

Relative density=density of substance \density of water at 4°c

RD= w1÷w1-w2

RD= 120gf÷120gf-105gf

RD= 120gf÷15gf = 8

so the relative density of the solid is 8
