Let m be the mass of the solid

Actual weight of the solid , W = 50gf = 50gN

Apparent weight of the solid , Wa =44gf =44gN

Let the buoyancy be B

Now

Wa = W - B

⇒B =50g - 44g

⇒B = 6gN

This is the up thrust on the solid.

Let 'd' be the density of the solid and 'V' be its volume

Weight , W = Vdg =50g

Vd = 50

The buoyancy is given by,

B = V (density of water) g

B =V(1000)g =6g

V=6/1000=0.006m³

This is the volume of the solid.

Now , Vd =50

d =50/V

   =50/0.006

    =8333.00Kg/m³

This is the density of the solid.
