A solid wooden toy is in the shape of a right circular cone mounted on a hemisphere. If the radius
of the hemisphere is 4.2cm and the total height of the toy is 10.2cm. Then the volume of wooden toy is

= 6.0cm

Now vol. of hemisphere= 2/3 πr^3

= 2/3 × 22/7 ×(4.2)^3

= 155.232

vol. of cone= 1/3 ×π× r^2×h

= 1/3 ×22/7×(4.2)^2 × 6

= 332.64

total vol. = vol. of hemi. + vol of cone

= 155.232+ 332.64

= 487.872cm^3
