We know that, the pH of a solution is the positive logarithm of the hydroxide-ion concentration,and the pOH of solution is the negative logarithm of hydroxide-ion .

• When a solution change the pH to red ,it is quite easy to know that the solution is acidic in nature and the pH would be less than 7

• And the pOH of that solution is to be greater than 7 because the solution is acidic in nature.
